History of the MIXED NUTZ CRUISE GROUP


Welcome to my Blog about cruising with the MIXED NUTZ, which is a Cruise Group made up of fun loving people from across the United States. We formally became a group with a name in 2003 when we gathered together to cruise on Royal Caribbeans Navigator of the Seas.

First of all let me introduce myself and my first mate ( and wife ) Carol. Originally. ...we became the Prime movers for getting the initial group together, mainly because I was the message board thread starter.
The group of cruisers was made up of people who had visited CruiseCritic.com, which has among it's features, a Message Board where you can meet other people taking your particular cruise.

It was a new venture for us trying to co-ordinate meeting all the folks and getting our Sail-Away party planned. We were making name tags and door signs for the people we kept in message board contact for about a year while waiting for the cruise date to arrive.
