Part Two.... The Cruise itself...... Just getting started.

We found the Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas to be everything and more than we expected as we wandered through the ship for the first time. When we finally saw the pool deck, we noticed that there were people already up on deck in bathing suits getting sun and having fun ........and it was only about noon. But...we headed for the Windjammer for lunch first. Our first look at the Windjammer left us thinking that THIS is really neat. There were food stations with cheese of many varieties piled high.....others with fruits of a rainbow of colors. Wherever we looked there was well presented food, all colorful and appetizing. We soon realized that there were two identical sides to the Windjammer and there were many stations where the same foods were served. In other words.....no waiting.
We all selected food and headed for a table with a view. Actually, the whole Windjammer offers a great view, particularly towards the aft. I happened to be filming video of everybody coming up to the table and placing their heaping dishes of the first meal we were having on Explorer, when Greg came up to the table ...... smiling and all happy......looking into the camera, when he went to place his dish on the table .......... AND MISSED!!!
We have laughed over that incident for years now. He holds the title of "Fastest to spill a plate of food."
